All cases are handled in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (<a href=\"http:\/\/publicationethics.org\/about\/our-organisation\">COPE<\/a>), taking into account the nature and complexity of the situation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Complaints<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reports of potential breaches of ethical standards should be sent to the official email address:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:modecon@mnau.edu.ua\">modecon@mnau.edu.ua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Complaints should be concise, well-reasoned and contain sufficient facts and, where possible, supporting documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The editorial board considers all reports within 30 working days, but in critical cases this period may be extended.<\/p>\n<p>Reports submitted in an inappropriate, offensive or defamatory manner will not be considered. If the matter falls outside the publication\u2019s remit, the complainant will receive an official response explaining the reasons for the refusal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Appeals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Authors have the right to appeal against an editorial decision if they consider it unfounded or biased.<\/p>\n<p>An appeal may relate to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>refusal to publish;<\/li>\n<li>requests for substantial revisions to the manuscript;<\/li>\n<li>suspicions of bias in the peer review process;<\/li>\n<li>other actions which, in the author\u2019s opinion, contravene ethical principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Appeals must be submitted in writing to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:modecon@mnau.edu.ua\">modecon@mnau.edu.ua<\/a>\u00a0within 30 calendar days of receiving the decision. The appeal must include the title of the article, substantiated arguments and, where available, additional materials.<\/p>\n<p>The appeal is considered by the editor-in-chief or another member of the editorial board who did not participate in the initial decision. If necessary, a re-review by an independent expert may be arranged.<\/p>\n<p>The review takes up to 30 days, after which the author receives a written response with the final decision.<\/p>\n<p>The decision made following the appeal is final and cannot be reviewed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolving violations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If violations are confirmed, the editorial board will take the necessary measures to resolve them, which may include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>issuing a correction, erratum or corrigendum;<\/li>\n<li>retracting the article in the event of serious violations, such as plagiarism or data fabrication;<\/li>\n<li>publishing an Expression of Concern if there are suspicions but insufficient evidence for retraction;<\/li>\n<li>imposing sanctions, such as refusal to publish or disqualification from submitting materials in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Further information on the procedures for handling violations can be found in the \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/bsagriculture.com.ua\/uk\/retraction-of-publications\">Policy on Retraction of Publications <\/a>\u00bb section.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1488380970275{margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221; parallax_background=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text] Complaints Policy [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The editorial board of the \u00abModern Economics\u00bb electronic academic journal is committed to dealing with all enquiries, complaints and appeals relating to editorial or publication activities in a prompt, impartial and constructive manner.
