The essence and the role of circulating means in the system of effective management of production and commercial business processes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract. Introduction<\/strong>. An important task of a modern enterprise is to ensure its life and development by means of circulating funds. It becomes more and more difficult for the enterprises to get the financial resources necessary for the formation of circulating means. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the efficiency of the system of working capital management in order to ensure its viability and development.<\/p>\n

Purpose.<\/strong> The purpose of the article is to study the economic essence and content of the concept of circulating funds and related concepts, to determine the role of circulating funds in the system of effective management of industrial-commercial business processes of an enterprise in modern conditions.<\/p>\n

Results.<\/strong> The article analyzes different definitions of the concept of “circulating means” in the scientific literature and the national regulatory framework. In scientific and practical activities, as well as in the legislative framework, there is still no unity and uniqueness in the interpretation of the concept of “circulating means”. Based on the results of the study, the main approaches of scholars to the interpretation of the concept of circulating means. The article analyzes in their close relationship related to circulating means in terms of their economic content and role relationship: current assets, negotiable funds, working capital, circulating funds, floating funds in circulation. The main areas of practical use of the studied concepts are highlighted: current assets – accounting sphere, circulating means – economic sphere, negotiable funds – financial sphere, working capital – investment sphere. Brief characterization and peculiarities of the studied concepts are revealed. The main essential characteristics of circulating means: the main importance of circulating means of the enterprise is to ensure a continuous process of production and sale of products; circulating means change their functional form in the form of circulating funds and floating funds in circulation; participation of circulating means in the circulation of enterprise resources is constant and systematic; the essence of circulating means is manifested by their functions; circulating means allow the enterprise to react quickly to changes in market conditions and market demand.<\/p>\n

Conclusions.<\/strong> An important condition for the successful operation of any business entity is the rational and economical use of circulating means. This means that companies must: optimize the structure of circulating means, organize efficient inventory management, increase the efficiency of receivables management, organize effective cash management, etc.<\/p>\n
