Managing the Human Component of Business as a Factor of Industrial Management in the Context of Digital Transformation

Abstract. This article examines how managing the human component of business is a key factor in the effectiveness of industrial management, particularly in the context of digital transformation. It analyzes the impact of modern digital technologies on HR processes, particularly the automation of personnel accounting, personnel development planning, competency assessment, and motivational and social policy formation. The article establishes that integrating digital solutions into the human resources management system increases managerial decision-making efficiency, optimizes the use of labor potential, and adapts business structures to dynamic changes in the labor market. Particular attention is given to creating an information space for professional dialogue and comparing national qualification systems with international standards, ensuring the systematization of knowledge and increasing personnel competence. The study’s findings underscore the importance of an integrated approach combining digitalization, professional competency development, and organizational transformation to promote the sustainable growth and increased competitiveness of enterprises.

Purpose. This study aims to determine the role of human capital management as a strategic factor in industrial management effectiveness in the context of digital transformation. It also seeks to analyze the impact of digital technologies on HR processes, assess their potential to optimize personnel accounting, develop personnel competencies, and form motivational and social policies. Additionally, it aims to identify mechanisms for integrating digital solutions into enterprise management systems to enhance competitiveness.

Results. Deepening the digitalization of human resources management entails the transformation of traditional management practices, in particular through the integration of mobile applications, social networks, cloud services, virtual reality technologies and artificial intelligence tools. This combination ensures the creation of a favorable digital environment for increasing labor efficiency, improving recruitment processes, and supporting the professional development of employees.

Practical experience in implementing digital technologies in HR processes of leading business entities demonstrates the provision of these processes with expanded functionality.

Conclusions. In the context of digital transformation, human capital management is becoming increasingly important for improving industrial efficiency. Modern enterprises must integrate digital technologies into HR processes to ensure prompt decision-making, optimize personnel accounting, and increase labor productivity. Complex automated information systems not only allow for the maintenance of personal records and the planning of employee development, but also enable the analysis of competency characteristics, the prediction of training needs, and the formation of motivational, compensation, and social policies that contribute to the increase of staff loyalty and competitiveness.

Digital solutions create an information space that systematizes data on professional qualifications and competencies, compares national standards with international practices, and organizes professional dialogue between stakeholders. Implementing such technologies allows one to take into account the specifics of individual business structures and their readiness for transformation processes. It also provides more accurate planning of material investments in management automation.

However, the effectiveness of digitally transforming human resource management depends on a comprehensive approach combining technological solutions, staff training, competence development, and adapting the organizational structure to new labor market conditions. Only under these conditions can the digitalization of HR processes promote the sustainable development of enterprises, ensuring their competitive advantages and enhancing the overall efficiency of industrial management amid rapid economic and technological changes.
