SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP AS THE BASIS OF MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL COOPERATION OF BUSINESSAND STATE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introduction. Nowadays, social partnership becomes increasingly popular. In the conditions of economic crisis it is the most modern and effective way of interaction between the state, society and business. Tools of social partnership help to reduce the budget burden, contribute to the development of infrastructure, raise employment, increase the number of small businesses, improve the quality of goods and services.<\/em><\/p>\n

The purpose of this article is to define the concept of social partnership as the most important component of modern relations of the state and business, the allocation of its goals, forms, principles, functions and directions of regulation the social and labor relations through social partnership.<\/em><\/p>\n

Results. Now social partnership has become one of the key mechanisms for regulating social and labor relations. The article reflects the need of studying the category of “social partnership”, toanalyze of which is devoted works of famous scientists and economists. It is given the scientists\u2019 points of view on this category, representatives of government and business in their turn interpret social partnership in different ways. It is presented a model of modern socially-oriented market economy. It is singled out the features of social partnership, its subjects, goals, forms and functions. It is systematized the directions of social and labor relations regulation with the help of social partnership. It is proposed the principles of social partnership and highlighted problems that hamper its development. It is given the data of foreign companies’ research, the connection of their profitability and active social position. It is investigated the functions of socially responsible business and peculiarities in the behavior of the “corporate citizen”. It is designated bodies, that controls relations of social partnership in Ukraine.<\/em><\/p>\n

We came to the conclusion that business around the world become increasingly aware of the need for socially responsible behavior. In developed countries there are various government programs of supporting and stimulating social partnership and business responsibility. In Ukraine the state should determine the desired behavior of business and government, involve companies of the private and public sectors in the joint implementation of social tasks, develop standards and measures for stimulating the business to socially responsible behavior.<\/em><\/p>\n
