Estimation of enterprises resource potential of Mykolaiv region

Abstract. Introduction. Resource potential of enterprises plays an important role in their activities, gives them more opportunities, in particular, independence from imports and monopolization of their supply. Resource potential depends directly on the resource provision of enterprises, which can be defined as a combination of certain types of resources that directly participate in the processes of the operation of enterprises.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to diagnose the resource potential of enterprises in Mykolaiv region in the conditions of economy globalization on the basis of the statistical approach.

Results. The mineral raw material base of enterprises of the construction industry is analyzed and it is found that the reserves of natural resources are significant in the region. It was established that the construction industry is closely connected with the mineral raw materials complex and the volume of construction works performed. It was investigated that the index of construction products in 2017 increased compared to 2016, but the index of agricultural production decreased during the same period. The main reasons for the fluctuations of agricultural production in 2010-2016 are grouped, in particular: the high dependence of export of agricultural products from world prices for products; increase in production costs; declining household incomes and, as a consequence of declining demand; a decrease in the volumes of the food industry, which processed a significant amount of agricultural products).

Conclusions. Consequently, the companies we are investigating need to use their resource potential rationally, reducing the cost of resource provision of the enterprise through their rational use; an increase in stock resources through geological and geophysical works, the improvement of the licensing system for the development of quarries and in-depth processing of raw materials, which will create an attractive investment climate, to develop state programs of support for innovation and investment development of enterprises in agriculture in which to propose the creation of an innovative business incubator, which needs their cooperation and cooperation in the direction of promoting the transfer of technologies, cooperation with the industry, investors, researchers and scholars, support and activation of entrepreneurial activity.
