The «Modern Economics» electronic academic journal was established by the Academic Council of Mykolaiv National Agrarian University (Protocol № 5 of 27 December 2016) as a platform for academic dialogue and the exchange of knowledge in the field of economic science and practice.
The journal’s mission is to highlight contemporary trends, challenges and innovations shaping the future of economic science and practice by publishing the results of forward-looking research.
The editorial board of the «Modern Economics» electronic academic journal aims to achieve the following goals:
- To implement, adhere to and promote best international publishing practices in order to ensure the high quality of academic works and earn the trust of the global academic community.
- Creating a modern expert environment by engaging leading specialists and establishing a reputable network of domestic and international reviewers with high academic standing.
- Integrating into the global information space and promoting Ukrainian research in the international market for scientific output.
- Developing digital scientific communication based on the principles of Open Science and integration into European research infrastructures.
- Ensuring uncompromising adherence to international standards of publishing ethics and transparent peer-review procedures to prevent academic misconduct.
- Legal protection of intellectual property and ensuring compliance with copyright at all stages of the editorial and publishing cycle.
