Managing the Turnover of Personnel of Trading Enterprises in Ukraine with Application of Methods of Stress Management
Abstract. Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of issues of management of turnover of personnel in the field of trade with the use of methods and tools of stress management. In the sphere of HR-management, problems of the development of emotional and professional burnout syndromes, excessive turnover of labor force, which leads to economic and financial losses of business and harms the company’s image on the market, are exacerbated and expanded.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to formulate methodological recommendations on the use of stress management in the management of the turnover of sales staff in order to minimize the loss of companies from the constant need to resume staffing: its search, selection, training and adaptation, effective motivation.
Results. The reasons of turnover of personnel at trade enterprises are determined and factors influencing its growth. The essence and consequences of professional burnout of the sales staff are revealed. It is proved that the turnover of staff caused by the emergence of motivation due to stress in the workplace leads to economic and financial losses of the commercial business. Classification of factors influencing the occurrence and development of a syndrome of professional burnout in trade activity is carried out. The development of preventive programs, which reduce the risk of emotional and professional burnout of workers, should be based on the results of a preliminary analysis of stress factors, psychodiagnosis of personality characteristics of different categories of workers. Such important elements of the stress management system as counseling, seminars, and trainings are an integral part of targeted, systematic preventive work on the prevention of professional burnout, diagnostics of the psychological states of the workers of the trade enterprise. There are also effective therapies and rehabilitation measures to limit stress in the workplace. and regarding the removal of psychological stress.
Conclusions. The mechanism of management of personnel turnover for a trading company is proposed on the basis of prevention of motivation and professional burnout of employees with the use of stress management methods. The management of a trading company through the use of stress management tools can ensure the preservation and development of human resources and the stability of their own business.
