Innovative Directions for the Development of Distribution Foreign Activity of Forestry Enterprises Due to Information and Digital Technologies
Abstract. Introduction. The forest industry plays an important role in the economy and has a significant impact on living standards and the environment. Digital forestry makes it possible to create systems that will be characterized by predictability, a high level of productivity, the ability to quickly adapt to changes, which will contribute to increasing the sustainability and profitability of forest enterprises. In this way, a qualitatively formed innovative strategy for the development of the sales potential of a forest enterprise using modern information technologies will contribute to the expansion of the range of export products and their sales markets to ensure the effectiveness of forestry activities.
Purpose. The purpose of the study is to determine the features and prospects of using digital technologies in the activities of forestry enterprises and to establish innovative solutions for the digitalization of forestry production in accordance with the conditions of war and economic instability.
Results. It has been proven that the war significantly complicated the sale of forest products, as the conflict led to a change in the economic, social and political situation in Ukraine. Approaches and strategies have been identified that can help forestry enterprises to ensure the sale of forest products even in war conditions, focusing not on the domestic market, but on international markets. The components of the Forestry 4.0 concept have been defined and analyzed, and the benefits that forestry companies receive from its implementation have been determined. Innovations in the development of marketing activities of forestry enterprises, their role in improving the processes of forest management and planning, and the development of sustainable forestry are characterized. Appropriate digital technologies are proposed for use, which will allow to control the quality, quantity and location of finished products, as well as to optimize logistics processes. It has been proven that in order to ensure transparency and complete objectivity in the purchase and sale of forest products, it is necessary to conduct electronic trading of forestry products, which will contribute to the prevention of possible violations and manipulations. The introduction of drones into the forestry activities of modern enterprises as innovative tools for improving the efficiency of operations is substantiated.
Conclusions. Having conducted research, we come to the conclusion that digital and information technologies are having a significant impact on the distribution of forest products, helping to optimize processes, ensure efficiency and improve communication between participants in the supply chain. In addition, digital technologies make a significant contribution to increasing efficiency, sustainability and environmental responsibility in forestry.
