Analysis of Approaches to Assessing the Development of Smart City Technologies
Abstract. Introduction. The principles of creating a methodology of Smart Cities evaluation are proposed, including the principle of objectivity, the principle of specificity, the principle of constant development, the principle of determining regularities, the principle of systematic approach, and the principle of comprehensive consideration of all aspects.
The methodological and theoretical basis of the article became the works of leading foreign and domestic scientists on the assessment of technologies for the creation and development of Smart City. In order to achieve the set goal, the following scientific and research methods were used: monographic (reviewing and studying literary sources on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the functioning of “Smart” cities), analysis and synthesis (for research and generalization of research results); logical-theoretical and dialectical (for the formation of research conclusions). The substantiation of theoretical conclusions and explanations was carried out on the basis of structural and system-functional approaches to the process of analysis and evaluation of technologies for the creation and development of the urban smart environment. The information base of the research is scientific publications, theses of reports and monographs, including those published on the websites of the global network.
Purpose. Systematization of fundamental approaches to evaluation of the development of smart technologies in the context of assessing the development of “smart” cities.
Results. The theoretical foundations of modern approaches to the evaluation of technologies for the development of Smart Cities in the context of the digital economy have been systematized, and the basis for further scientific developments in the field of rational management in the context of the digital society has been created.
Conclusions. The obtained results can be used for further prospective studies of the concepts of smart cities in the context of rational management in the conditions of a digital society.
