Digital energy as a key component of the modern world energy system
Abstract. Introduction. Digital energy is one of the key components of the modern global energy system. It uses the latest digital technologies to improve energy efficiency and ensure more efficient and environmentally friendly energy production and consumption. Digital technologies can help conserve resources and reduce environmental impact. For example, electronic documentation and paperless management can reduce paper consumption. The use of energy-efficient technologies and remote collaboration can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Digitization is a gradual and irreversible process both in the economy and in other areas, in particular in energy. In the 21st century, new technologies: artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, IT technologies help to optimize significant systems and volumes of work, which allows increasing labor productivity in the absence of human resource costs.
Purpose. The purpose of this thesis was to determine the main motives and perspectives of digitalization, which can be use in global energy system. To investigate in detail the process of digitization in the energy sector, to determine the level of effectiveness of the application of digitization in the household economy.
Results. The article examines the relevance and effectiveness of the implementation of digitalization in the modern world. Digitization in the energy industry, in particular in alternative energy sources, is considered in more detail. The efficiency of using a solar station at a pellet plant was calculated and analyzed, the cost of electricity use and the part covered by solar panels were calculated.
Conclusions. Digitization is an integral part of the modern development of society and main aspects of global economic system. It has the potential to change the economy, politics, culture and people’s lives as a whole. The right use of digital technologies can bring many benefits and contribute to the creation of a sustainable, innovative and accessible society. The article summarizes the results of the study of the impact of digitization on world markets and ways of implementation in the economic environment.
Keywords: digitization, energy; solar panels; solar station; energy efficiency; economy.
