Digitization of the Economy as Professional Development Factor
Abstract. Introduction. Digitalization is one of the main factors of economic growth and business competitiveness. The use of digital technologies allows enterprises of all economic sectors to develop faster, better and more efficiently. This causes broad interest in the concept of digital economy and digitalization.
Purpose. Determination of the digital economy impact on the company’s activities, organization of the work of its structural subdivisions, transformation of employees functional responsibilities, development of their digital skills and competencies.
Results. The state of digitalization in Ukraine, which has defined its place in the global rating on the level of innovations development, is considered. The main tendencies of digitalization development in Ukraine are investigated. The need for effective actions of the State in this sphere. The impact of digital economy on enterprise activity and organization of its structural subdivisions is noted. It was established that modern software and technical means are partially based on traditional professional tasks; extend the functional capabilities of employees; require continuous improvement of their professional competencies and digital skills, in particular management and communication skills with robotic technology. It is established that the digitizing of the enterprise leads to redistribution of functional tasks between the person and the latest technologies, creation of new workplaces, increase of work productivity. It is established that the approach to organization of workplace is changing, “digital” workplaces are used, which help to increase efficiency of employees and to create more comfortable working conditions. The emphasis on changes related to the accountant profession is made. Profound changes in its functional responsibilities and the need to expand the intellectual component of professional activity on the basis of the latest information technologies.
Conclusions. Digitalization creates important advantages for enterprises in the implementation of the chosen strategy, strengthening their economic security, achieving transparency in doing business. In the professional sphere, global changes are being made, which have both technological and economical and social aspects. Realization of trend of “extended labor force” in the accounting and financial sphere requires updating programs of training and retraining of specialists of accounting and financial sphere on the basis of awareness of prospects of the profession opened in connection with digitization Economy.
