Formation of a Rational System of Enterprise Management Informational Support

Abstract. Introduction. The success of business enterprises pretty much depends on the process of managing relevant and reliable information on the internal and external environment. Today, society has no acute information deficit, as new information and communication technologies are rapidly evolving and spreading due to the scientific and technological progress. However, in the current conditions of the information society, the issue of organization of rational information support of business processes of enterprises is becoming more relevant.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to identify the main aspects of the formation of a rational system of information management of enterprise activity.

Results. The structure of information support has been supplemented with such component as ‘human resources’, since it is the workforce of the enterprise that is the driving force of any processes. It was found that about 98.0% of all national enterprises had access to the Internet. It is determined that the most popular directions of Internet usage national enterprises prefer sending or receiving e-mail messages, conducting banking operations, receiving information about goods and services and receiving information from state authorities. The advantages and disadvantages of using modern electronic services in enterprise management are outlined. Some important alternatives to improving the information management system of enterprise are presented. Among them there are formation of information and analytical portal and using of blockchain technology.

Conclusions. The study found that information support is not a key factor in the economic entities’ efficiency, as the crucial role is played by the initiative and responsibility of the head manager, the competence of managers at different levels and the qualification of specialists in different professions. It is established that the prerequisite of using the latest information technologies should become the reformatting issue for enterprises. It is the organization of a rational system of information support of enterprise management which is an important tool for the effectiveness of its functioning.
