Measurement and Display of Social Globalization in Society
Introduction. Manifestations of globalization processes change the consciousness of each person in the perception of trends in the development of society, individual spheres of activity, their totality. Social globalization is a significant component of the modern world. Understanding the processes that take place in the global environment is based on knowledge, judgments, comparisons of the totality of global manifestations from political to investment-innovative. Social globalization has a close connection with the mentality of the people, and it is a certain system of images, view of the personality about the world, the place of personality in it, which determines the behavior culture, actions, causes events, state development. The mentality of the people is formed under the influence of a wide range of historical factors, events that change the worldview in time and space. The study of manifestations of social globalization is an important link in the development of the state, as it determines the behavior of the individual, the possibility of its adaptation to global changes.
Purpose. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the essence and features of the manifestation of social globalization in society, taking into account the combination of political, socio-economic, legal, environmental factors, as well as mental characteristics of the population, defining the priorities of ensuring the safety of society. Adaptation process in society is connected with the concept of “globalization”, which requires the development of a corresponding set of managerial approaches to prevent the growth of social tension in society, the creation of prerequisites for the emergence of new knowledge, its dissemination and perception, ensuring the preconditions for development, taking into account global processes , raising of the level of global competitiveness in the state.
Results. The authors examine the essence, manifestation and measurement of social globalization in society. The main components of influencing the formation of preconditions in guaranteeing the security of society are determined. The role of international organizations in creating the preconditions for guaranteeing the world environment in the security plane is determined. The connection of political, socio-economic, cultural, legal, ecological and, separately, mental features to the possibilities of adaptation of society to globalization changes is stipulated. It has been proved that social globalization manifests have various manifestations in society in view of acceptance or non-acceptance of events of global scale, as well as socio-cultural norms, peculiarities of religion, and the mentality of the population.
Conclusions. It is stipulated that a significant factor influencing the acceptance or non-acceptance of events all over the world scale is a set of socio-psychological features, consciousness of the population, society, as manifestations of mentality. At the same time, a set of external and internal processes, including globalization, transforms approaches to guarantee state security in view of existing and potential threats to society.
