State and Trends of Development of Social Infrastructure of Mykolaiv Region
Abstract. Introduction. In the process of research, the theoretical aspects of the concept of social infrastructure were considered, the main factors that have a direct impact on the formation of the social infrastructure of the city were determined. A study of the state of development of the social infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region was conducted, and the main trends in its development were also determined.
Purpose. The main purpose of the research is to study the state of development of the social infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region, as well as to determine its main development trends.
Results. The Mykolaiv region, a clear trend was revealed regarding the decline in the state of social infrastructure, which requires the use of operational measures for its stabilization and improvement in the future.
Conclusions. Although the population of the Mykolaiv region assesses the state of social infrastructure as average, considering the level of development of other regions, Mykolaiv occupies one of the last positions. Such pessimistic views of citizens provoke their desire to leave for more developed cities, and the mass outflow of the population, in turn, provokes a shortage of personnel in the region. At the same time, there are problems regarding the state of the material and technical base of medical institutions, the insufficient level of information technologies in educational institutions, the inefficiency of the use of budget funds, and the shortage of housing funds. If we take into account the conditions of martial law, then the mentioned problems only deepen, therefore it is important to start programs for the restoration of the region and its development, attracting investors and improving the management system at the local level.
