The World Insurance Market Development in the Conditions of Digitalization
Abstract. Introduction. Digitization is a widespread phenomenon in the today`s world that has influenced every sphere of activity. Digital technologies are fundamentally changing business development. It is not least important for insurance companies to be up-to-date with current technology in society.
Purpose. That is why features of digitalization and its significant influence on Ukrainian insurance market development are described in the article. Technology, analytics, adequate funding are important factors in ensuring digital innovations successful implementation in an insurance company development.
Results. It is marked the main advantages and disadvantages of the digitalization for the insurance market participants. It is presented that one of the most important digital transformation tasks of insurance market is want satisfaction of existing and potential clients, efficiency improvement and cost reducing of insurance companies. In addition, the artificial intelligence that will be used will provide support to customers at any stage of insurance. Chatbots using will allow to stay in touch with customers anywhere in the world around the clock. Insurance market digitization will lead to the amount of satisfied customers’ increase, to processing documents time decrease, to the amount of errors by human factor decrease. Comparison of Ukrainian and world insurance experience in terms of digitization showed a significant difference in development. The reason for this is that it is completely new area of focus for the Ukrainian insurance market, and it requires detailed study, intensification, analysis and implementation. In addition to this, it is necessary to be on the go and develop quickly for the successful development of insurance companies, among others.
Conclusions. Therefore, digitalization in insurance companies’ activities is an appropriate and necessary process in modern world.
