Theoretical and Methodological Principles of Research of Innovative Management Forms in the System of Higher Education of Ukraine
Abstract. Introduction. The article considers innovation management as a priority aspect of further development of the higher education system of Ukraine in market conditions, explores approaches to defining innovative management forms in the higher education system, substantiates the conceptual foundations of theoretical and methodological research of purposeful management activities aimed at implementing social , personnel, pedagogical, material and financial conditions that are necessary for the optimal functioning and development of the educational system.
Purpose. The purpose of the study is to substantiate theoretically the use of innovative forms of management of higher education institutions.
Results. The essence and features of innovative management forms for the purpose of concretization of system-forming structural elements, determination of the system’s efficiency functioning of the offered system are opened. The formulation of the general definition of innovation management has created conditions for tracking the transition to the definition of “innovative management in the management of higher education institutions in domestic science. The study found that the reform of the higher education system is closely linked to the processes of modernization of organizational structures, strengthening project management and strategic planning, the use of public administration. The study of the substantive evolution of the concept of “innovation management in the management of higher education institutions” has created the conditions for providing an author’s understanding of the forms of innovation management that can be used in the management of reforming the higher education system. Four main categories were formulated to define the concept, taking into account the issue of determining the “degree of innovation” in the management process. A comprehensive and systematic approach to the introduction of new forms of management occurs with full economic and legal support, adapted to the rapid changes in society.
Conclusions. Thus, the study theoretically substantiates the conceptual foundations of the development of the concept of “innovative management forms”, specifies the leading strategy for the use of modern managerial forms in higher education. Examining innovations in the management of higher education institutions, it should be noted that they could be seen as the invention and implementation of practices, structures, technical and technological tools, management processes that are new to the highest level of development in this field. Taking into account the above views, it should be noted the acquisition of innovation management in higher education institutions of institutional importance, the need for structural redesign of innovation management system, the formation of a personnel system of managers who can make informed and effective management decisions. The modeling of the system of applying innovative forms of management in the higher education system of Ukraine will be promising in further researches.
