Abstract. Introduction. The practice of managing tourism enterprises shows that the necessity of implementing effective mechanisms for their development requires modern concepts of management and innovation on the part of the personnel. Implementation of specific innovative projects will increase the efficiency of the activities of tourism industry, other sectors of country, and the entire national economy.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to consider the actual aspects of the tourism enterprises development; to substantiate tourism enterprises’ innovation and investment activities; and to study the peculiarities of the application of modern management concepts when working with personnel.
Results. The article examines some aspects of the development of enterprises in the field of tourism, in particular, the investment and innovation component of such development. Tourism enterprises influence the development of the country and individual regions. Activity and development of enterprises in the field of tourism are considered, taking into account theoretical approaches and modern management concepts. The introduction of innovative technologies and modern management concepts contributes to the sustainable development of regions and to the proper operation of tourism enterprises in accordance with international agreements. Effective staffing will contribute to the rational use of resources and to increasing the efficiency of enterprises and organizations. The bases for the introduction of effective management are the objective assessment, analysis of the level of enterprises development, and the effectiveness of their activities in the region. Carrying out such work should be done on the basis of the established effective use of personnel. To increase the level of development of enterprises in the field of tourism, we propose applying a cluster model for the enterprises and organizations activities and measures of modern management when working with personnel. The article gives examples of the effective use of resources and integrated management of tourism enterprises at the state, regional, and individual tourism enterprise levels.
