Use of Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture
Abstract. Introduction. The article discusses the concept and features of artificial intelligence. Problematic issues related to its use in various branches of agriculture, namely: crop production, animal husbandry, resource management and analytics, have been studied. The main aspects of the use of robotics as one of the main drivers of the digital transformation of the agricultural sector are presented. The main advantages of using artificial intelligence in agriculture, which offer intelligent solutions and make it possible to more effectively transform production processes by reducing the number of repetitive, routine tasks, significantly increase labor productivity, create new products, and improve work efficiency, have been clarified.
The experience of world companies in the use of artificial intelligence and robotics was studied. The positive features, shortcomings and risks of their implementation in agricultural companies of Ukraine are revealed. It was established that the use of artificial intelligence is a promising direction of human activity in the effective solution of the food problem and sustainable development of the agricultural sector, despite the shortcomings and risks of innovative technologies, the future, including agriculture, is behind them.
Purpоse. The purpose of the article is to generalize the directions of using artificial intelligence in agriculture; focusing on the advantages, disadvantages and possible risks of using artificial intelligence.
Results. The use of artificial intelligence in agriculture is quite relevant, since in the modern world the development of technologies affects all spheres of life, including the agricultural sector. The application of artificial intelligence in agriculture can really improve productivity and efficiency in crop production, livestock production, analytics and resource management. AI can greatly benefit these industries due to its ability to process large amounts of data, analyze and make intelligent decisions.
Cоnclusiоns. The use of artificial intelligence is a promising direction of human activity in effectively solving the food problem; despite the shortcomings and risks of innovative technologies, they are the future, including agriculture. The use of artificial intelligence can improve production efficiency, reduce crop losses, improve product quality, optimize resource use, and reduce environmental impact.
