Agrology: The Application of Agrarian Logistics Across the World and its Possible Use in the Agrarian Sector of the Ukrainian Economy

Abstract. Introduction. Agrarian logistics develops scientific principles, methods, and mathematical models that collectively allow us to plan, manage, and control the processes of transportation and similar operations that occur in bringing raw materials to an agricultural entity, organizing the production process, and delivering finished products to customers and consumers. Considering the above aspects, consideration of this topic is therefore relevant.

Purpose. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the application of agricultural logistics throughout the world and to identify the directions of its development in the agricultural sector of the Ukrainian economy.

Results. The application of agrarian logistics across the world was analyzed, and the directions of its development in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy were highlighted. It has been shown that the supply of raw materials, materials, and services of modern agribusiness has a significant influence on the ability of agricultural entities to meet the needs of consumers. Accordingly, particular attention should be paid to the strategy of choosing the source of resources and mitigating supply problems. It can be established that intensive development of agribusiness in Ukraine is impossible without a developed transport infrastructure, since the key problem for Ukrainian agrarians is agro-logistics.

Conclusions. To accelerate the development of the agrarian logistics system in Ukraine, it is proposed to undertake a number of activities, including the involvement of international experts in the quality control of road construction and repair, the introduction of public-private partnerships, and others.
