Management of the transport infrastructure of an industrial enterprise: theoretical and methodological approach
Abstract. Introduction. The article researches theoretical and methodological approaches to managing transport infrastructure at an industrial enterprise. Theoretical approaches to the transport infrastructure management system were studied, an analysis of the transport infrastructure management strategy was conducted, the stages and processes aiming at efficient use of vehicles and ensuring the smooth functioning of the production process were evaluated. The approaches and methods for analyzing the efficiency of the transport infrastructure management system at the industrial enterprise are determined.
It has been established that various theoretical approaches can be used to manage the transport infrastructure of an industrial enterprise. With the systematic approach the transport infrastructure can be considered as a part of the enterprise management system and investigating its relationship with other components of this system. The process approach emphasizes on the optimization of processes that take place in the transport infrastructure management system. With the institutional approach transport infrastructure can be considered in the context of social and political institutions that influence its functioning. The model approach presupposes developing mathematical models that help to describe and predict processes in the transport infrastructure management system.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical and methodological approach to the management of the transport infrastructure of an industrial enterprise. The main tasks of the research are the study of theoretical approaches to the study of the transport infrastructure management system; the analysis of the transport infrastructure management strategy; the evaluation of the interrelated stages and processes aimed at the effective use of vehicles and ensuring smooth operation of the production process; the selection of approaches and methods for analyzing the effectiveness of the transport infrastructure management system of an industrial enterprise.
Results. It was found that the choice of a theoretical approach to the study of the transport infrastructure management system of an industrial enterprise depends on the set objectives and the object of research, as each approach has its own advantages and limitations. The study of the transport infrastructure management system using different theoretical approaches can help to enrich the understanding of its functioning and improve the management process. Therefore, the use of different theoretical approaches may provide a more complete and non-biased picture and help in making balanced management decisions. It has been proven that for effective management of the transport infrastructure of an industrial enterprise it is necessary to have high-quality information about all components of the system and to ensure their interaction at the level of the entire enterprise. The management system should be focused on meeting the needs of customers, ensuring the quality work of all components and managing risks.
Conclusions. It has been proven that a key factor in successful management is the willingness of managers to solve problems, to take responsibility for the decisions they make, and to regularly analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the management system. The use of information technologies enables timely and efficient monitoring and analysis of various performance indicators, which is an important factor in the successful management of the transport infrastructure of an industrial enterprise. The transport infrastructure management system of an industrial enterprise includes a wide range of interrelated processes, and successful management depends on the staff’s ability to coordinate and optimize their work.
