Transformation of Management Structures of Enterprises under the Influence of ICT
Abstract. Introduction. In the context of the digital transformation of the economy and the growing importance of information and communication technologies, enterprise digital intelligence is especially important. It is a complex capability that effectively integrates data, analytical tools, and digital technologies into management processes.
Purpose. This article aims to lay the theoretical groundwork for enterprise digital intelligence and develop an approach to determining the relationship between digitalization levels, information and analytical intelligence decentralization, and management structure types.
Results. Enterprise digital intelligence is a broader category than automation. It encompasses a set of technologies, data, and processes that improve managerial decision-making, adapt to dynamic market environments, and enhance competitiveness. Digital intelligence is formed through the integration of modern ICT, including data analytics, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and decision support systems. This integration ensures a transition to information-based management. Particular attention is paid to enterprises in the electronic communications field, where digitalization is a fundamental requirement for operation. The level of ICT development influences organizational transformations, the degree of digital intelligence decentralization, and the type of management structure. A classification of enterprise digitalization levels is proposed, along with corresponding management models ranging from hierarchical to network- and platform-based structures. The development of digital intelligence is shown to lead to reduced hierarchical levels, strengthened horizontal links, increased autonomy of structural units, and integrated information flows.
Conclusions. Enterprise digital intelligence acts as a system-forming factor in the transformation of management. It ensures increased flexibility of business models, customer orientation, and innovative development capacity. Promising areas for further research include analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence and big data on managerial decision-making processes, the transformation of management personnel roles, and comparing digital transformation models in different sectors and countries.
