Organization of Diagnostics of Enterprise Activity and its Business Processes: Theoretical and Methodical Approaches
Abstract. Introduction. In modern economic conditions characterized by European integration transformations, development of globalization processes, strengthening of economic and political imbalances, procedures of diagnostics of business processes as a guarantee of effective management, they reach a new level. Diagnosis today is a process of continuous monitoring of the economic processes and phenomena for its evaluation and timely identification of problems of functioning of the entity based on direct and indirect signs. It aims at developing directions and measures to eliminate various negative causes and in turn aims at systematizing and optimizing the work of the whole enterprise.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to determine the role and importance of diagnostics in the effectiveness of business processes and ways to improve it.
Results. The concepts and views of domestic and foreign scientists on diagnostics are investigated. The mechanism of the realization of economic diagnostics is substantiated. The concept of enterprise business processes and their types are investigated. Approaches to interpreting the essence of the concept of “diagnostics” are considered. The basic positions and directions of diagnostics are defined. Types of enterprise diagnostics and models applied in practice, which allow structuring and identifying relationships between basic and indirect indicators, are characterized. Diagnostics should constantly and continuously be applied in the process of managing an enterprise, because they allow the identification of new trends that require specific structural changes in the management process.
Conclusions. The main purpose of diagnostics is to diagnose the object under study and to identify changes in its condition in order to shape future development prospects. Only when achieving a certain goal based on the formation of an analytical database of diagnostics can we talk about the transition to the choice of economic policy and strategy by developing and making management decisions. With the help of diagnostic procedures it is possible to thoroughly analyze the economic activity of enterprises and to identify the prospects for their development. At the same time diagnostics should be constantly developing, and it is expedient for the enterprise to take measures aimed at its improvement.
