Productivity of Agriculture in Terms of Industries of Ukraine
Abstract. The article is devoted to the issues of agricultural productivity in the context of Ukrainian industries, reveals the essence of the concept of labor productivity, theoretical and practical aspects of determining the economic content and methods of measuring labor productivity. Methodical approaches to the definition and calculation of labor productivity, as well as economic indicators such as production and labor intensity are studied. Academician Strumilin’s contribution to the development of labor productivity problems was also studied. The state of labor productivity in rural areas is analyzed economy by categories of commodity producers and branches of crop and livestock production, dynamics of labor productivity in agricultural enterprises (per one employed in agricultural production, labor productivity in agriculture in terms of regions of Ukraine and the USA, labor productivity in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine by regions per 1 employed in agricultural production , at constant prices in 2010, labor productivity of crop production in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine us by region per 1 employed in agriculture production, at constant prices in 2010. The research identified three leaders among the regions of Ukraine in terms of labor productivity in agricultural enterprises, livestock productivity in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine by region per 1 employee in agricultural production, at constant prices in 2010, UAH, as well as conclusions and suggestions on increasing labor productivity in terms of industries in Ukraine. The conclusions identify the main problems and areas for increasing productivity in terms of industries in Ukraine. As a result of the study it is noted that in a market economy, the creation of competitive products, increase the efficiency of economic activity is possible provided the efficient use of resources and increase productivity. Different approaches to determining the economic essence of labor productivity, its importance for the effective functioning of the enterprise are considered. Factors and approaches to increase are defined labor productivity in modern conditions Current research proves its relevance and importance by the fact that increasing the efficiency of productivity is the basis of growth of national income and a factor in increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, as well as a guarantee of food security and the world community.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to reveal the concept and essence of agricultural productivity in terms of galleys of Ukraine.
Results. The state of labor productivity in agriculture by categories of producers and branches of crop and livestock, the dynamics of labor productivity in agricultural enterprises (per employee in agricultural production, labor productivity in agriculture in the regions of Ukraine and the United States, labor productivity in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine per 1 employee in agricultural production, at constant prices in 2010, productivity of crop production in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine by region per 1 employee in agricultural production, at constant 2010 prices. The research identified three leaders among the regions of Ukraine in terms of labor productivity in agricultural enterprises, livestock productivity in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine by region per 1 employee in agricultural production, at constant prices in 2010, UAH, as well as conclusions and suggestions on increasing labor productivity in terms of industries in Ukraine. The conclusions identify the main problems and areas for increasing productivity in terms of industries in Ukraine.
Conclusions. Labor productivity is one of the most important economic categories, which most clearly reflects the efficiency of production. It accumulates in close combination the efficiency of labor resources, land, financial, and the main strategic goal is to find ways to increase key productivity indicators.
