Substantiation of Indicators and Formalization of Integral Index of Strategic Analysis of Enterprises
Abstract. Introduction. A characteristic feature of the current economic environment in which Ukrainian businesses operate is a significant increase in competition, an increase in requirements for product quality (works, services), an emphasis on socialization of production, resource conservation and efficiency. It is important for enterprises to have adequate indicators of assessing the impact on their activities of external and internal factors in order to function effectively in such environment. Such information can be obtained by using the tools and methods of strategic analysis. The article is devoted to topical issues of strategic analysis development and improvement of its indicators.
Purpose. The aim of the article is to substantiate the indicators (impact indicators) and formalize an integrated indicator of strategic analysis of enterprises, adapted to modern management queries and focused on improving the performance of economic entities in a competitive environment.
Results. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to substantiate the indicators and to develop a formula for the integrated indicator of strategic analysis of enterprises, which takes into account the probabilistic and specifically identified influences of the existing external and internal factors (factors) on the performance of economic entities. The practical value of the obtained results is that they can be used in the activity of the enterprise to evaluate its position in the competitive environment and develop a strategy for effective development.
Conclusions. The proposed approach allows a more adequate assessment of the strategic position of the entity. Its application will contribute to the development of effective management decisions.
