Development of the System of Economic Interests of Farms and Directions for Their Realization
Abstract. Introduction. The article examines how farms develop and realize a system of economic interests under uncertainty, resource constraints, and institutional volatility. Economic interests are treated as an integrated system linking resource reproduction, financial stability, market performance, institutional interaction, and innovation. The study shows that farms often face a gap between long-term development goals and short-term survival needs due to liquidity shortages, weak marketing channels, scale limitations, and high transaction costs. Special attention is given to how constraints spread across system components, where problems with liquidity or market access quickly reduce technological discipline and competitiveness.
Purpose. The study aims to substantiate a systemic framework for farms’ economic interests and to propose a structured approach to their realization based on measurable indicators and controllable managerial actions. This includes defining key components, identifying barriers that distort realization, and building a practical linkage between problems, managerial directions, measures, and monitoring parameters.
Results. The research identifies core barriers: seasonal liquidity gaps, unstable sales channels, small marketable batches, complex procedures, and innovation risks. A diagnostic model with a minimal set of indicators is proposed to detect imbalances early and prioritize interventions. A realization matrix operationalizes financial resilience through seasonal cash-flow planning and liquidity thresholds; market positioning through channel diversification and standardized contracts; scale through aggregation and coordination; institutional issues through procedural standardization and time control; innovation through phased testing with cost–effect evaluation. Effectiveness depends on coherence across components, since isolated actions can raise costs or deepen vulnerability.
Conclusions. Sustainable realization of farms’ economic interests requires an integrated, indicator-based management model with feedback. Priorities should follow the production cycle: stabilize liquidity and resource readiness, organize market sales, reduce transaction costs, and introduce innovation through controlled experimentation. Minimal monitoring based on simple registries improves transparency, comparability, and decision quality without excessive administrative burden.
