Trends and Prospects for the Development of the International Wedding Insurance Market
Abstract. Introduction. In the current conditions of the development of the global insurance market, there is an active formation of niche segments of insurance services focused on covering the risks of individual events. One of such segments is the wedding insurance market, the development of which is associated with the growth of the cost of wedding events, the spread of the culture of risk management and the digitalization of insurance services.
Purpose. The purpose of the study is to determine the main trends and prospects for the development of the international wedding insurance market. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the regional structure of the market, segmentation of insurance products and the characteristics of key factors affecting its dynamics.
Results. The article analyzes the current state and structure of the international wedding insurance market, and also identifies the main segments of insurance products that shape its functioning. It is established that the largest share of the world market falls on North America, while the Asia-Pacific region demonstrates the fastest growth rates. The features of the development of this segment in the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as in South America, where the market is at various stages of formation, were studied. Key factors of market development were identified, including the growth of costs for organizing weddings, the increase in demand for event insurance, the digitalization of insurance services and the development of partnership models between insurance companies and event organizers.
Conclusions. As a result of the study, it was found that the international wedding insurance market demonstrates a stable growth trend and is gradually transforming into an important segment of event insurance. Regional analysis showed significant differentiation of the level of development of this market depending on economic, social and cultural factors. Prospects for further market development are associated with the expansion of digital sales channels, improvement of insurance products and integration of innovative technologies into risk assessment processes. The results obtained can be used to forecast the development of this segment of the insurance market and the formation of strategies for its implementation in new national markets.
