Digital Factors of Economic Resilience of Trade Enterprises
Abstract. Introduction. The rapid expansion of digital technologies and the growing importance of e-commerce have significantly changed how trade enterprises operate. In an environment characterized by economic instability, shifts in consumer demand, and increased competitive pressure, developing digital sales channels is viewed as a way to grow revenue and enhance business adaptability and long-term sustainability.
Purpose. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between e-commerce development and the economic resilience of trade enterprises using statistical data from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, it seeks to substantiate the mechanisms through which digital transformation influences financial performance and stability.
Results. The research analyzes key digital indicators, such as the volume of e-commerce and the number of enterprises engaged in online sales, as well as financial performance indicators, including net revenue and operating profitability. Correlation and regression analyses revealed strong positive relationships between e-commerce volume and net revenue, as well as significant associations with operating profitability. The high coefficient of determination confirms the consistency of digital and financial dynamics. A structural-logical model is proposed to systematize the impact of e-commerce development through digital-technological, operational-organizational, and financial components.
Conclusions. The findings support the consideration of e-commerce development as an important factor in strengthening the economic resilience of trade enterprises. The results provide analytical grounds for strategic managerial decisions aimed at digital transformation and sustainable development.
